BAZYLI & ANNA JOCZ Jewish Christian victims of the Holocaust by Kelvin Chrombe
Bazyli and Anna Jocz and their two sons are a Jewish Christian family from Poland. They are among the tens of thousands of Jewish people who were associated with the Christian Church at the start of the Holocaust. Because Jews were defined as a race and not as a religion, they suffered in the same way as all the other Jewish people during the Holocaust. About half of the six-million Jews who were murdered were from Poland.
The story of the Jocz family is typical of what happened to many of the nearly 250,000 Jewish Christians during the Holocaust.
