About the Author

J.G. HoltropJan is a storyteller with a purpose. Skillfully weaving together true accounts and fictional storylines, she writes to reveal the glory and salvation of God.

Over a decade ago Jan began to write a story that became Wall of Fire. Although the fictional storylines are compelling and entertaining, it is through the factual accounts that we get glimpses of Gods glory.

Wall of Fire is Jan’s way of sharing how God is fulfilling the prophecies written in the Bible – prophecies that foretell the restoration of the land of Israel, the rebuilding of the ruined cities, and the re-gathering of the Jewish people back to their land.

Wall of Fire also tells the true stories of Gods miraculous protection of Israel during her wars and how the people are being restored to Him through Y’shua the Messiah. Within the framework of the story, Isaiah 53 is explained and Jewish opposition to Jesus, Y’shua, is discussed.

Jan has studied Jewish history and the prophecies in Scripture for many decades. Her desire to know and understand Jewish history began at an early age. When Jan was eight years old, she read, without understanding much of it, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. What she read made her heart break for the Jewish people and gave her a love for them that even she doesn’t quite understand. When she realized that the Jewish people in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich were the same as God’s people Israel in the Bible, she began a lifelong search for how something as horrific as the Holocaust could happen. Some of what she learned is included in Wall of Fire.

Several decades ago Jan began a verse association study of the Bible. As she followed the prophetic themes through Scripture she became aware of how accurate and detailed the prophecies were. She also realized how so many of the prophecies written thousands of years ago were being fulfilled in her lifetime. Overwhelmed with the glory of God and His faithfulness to His word, Jan began write Wall of Fire in order to share what she called ‘glimpses of Gods glory.’
